grim tributes

For the last couple of months, I've been playing around with my iPod Nano... it's a pretty fun gadget, but to be honest, it's starting to freak me out... for example, i'm sitting there, chillin out, with it set on shuffle... i'm enjoying to the random selection of songs, when i think to myself, "I wouldnt mind hearing some Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but i'm too lazy to go off shuffle mode".... i continue on my merry way, when about three songs later, "Gold Lion" by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs comes on... this sorta thing has happened almost everytime I listen to my iPod on shuffle mode... now, you could say that its all just coincidence... but i prefer to think that iPods are designed to read the brain waves of the people listening to them, and this information is transmitted back to Apple HQ... thus, the powers that be have access to instant market research data... its yet another example of Corporate America controlling you... but alas, i'm still gonna listen to my iPod
